Thank you to everyone who has donated clothes via our clothing bank. All of the items donated go to a great cause!

 

Please do not try and overfill the chute when donating clothes, as this can block the bank.  

Also if it is raining please, by all means, bring your bags into school and we will keep them dry until collection.

PTFA Annual Quiz!!

It’s time to get those cogs turning and combine your brain power for the Annual PTFA Quiz on

Friday 29th January 2016.

The quiz will start at 7.30pm prompt in the school hall and as always everyone is welcome and teams with a maximum of 4 members will be allowed.

The cost is just £7.00 per person which includes pie and pea supper.  There is a choice of meat and potato pie or vegetarian option, but remember to bring along your own nibbles, drink and glasses.

To enter a team, please complete the form below and hand it in with your entry fee to the school office or to Helen Durrant. 

We must have your form by Monday 25th January at the latest to enable us to order your supper

Diddy Dribblers

Diddy Dribbles is a club run by professional sports coaches from Pro Sport Coaching. The club is run on a Wednesday from 9:30am until 10:30am. All children between 18 months and 4 years are welcome to join us and the cost is £3.00 per child per session. Activities include, team games, ball skills, amongst many other things.

 

      

BULB PLANTING

 

A great big THANK YOU to members of Sabden Horticultural Society who gave up their time to come into school this afternoon (Monday 12th October 2015). They brought bulbs for each one of our children to plant and reinforced how to care for them through the winter.

Sabden Brownie Group.

 

Many of our children from school attend Brownies at St Nicholas' Church Hall. This week they completed their First Aid badges!!

Well done!!

They had to lean about CPR, bandaging and putting people in the recovery position amongst many other things.

 

 

 

Sabden Horticultural Society

 

Sabden Horticultural Society's 72nd Annual Floral, Horticultural and Handicrafts Summer Show will take place on Saturday 15th August 2015 commencing at 2pm.

Admission charges and more details to follow soon!!

The White Hart Inn are hosting a Craft Fair and Family Fun Day between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday 3rd May 2015.

SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

                                                          

We are hosting the book fair in school from Wednesday 11th - Tuesday 17th March 2015.

It will be open every night after school 3.30-4.30pm

If you fancy a book come along and have a look!!

The books will also be available for parents to browse and purchase while they wait on the two parents evenings.

Don't forget you can use your World Book Day £1 voucher too!!!

"Diddy Dribblers"

For children aged between 18 months and 4 years old!  Professionally run - only £2.50!  

(normal charge £4:  £1.50 subsidised by school)

Here at Sabden, every Wednesday 9.30 am - 10.45 am, including refreshments of tea, coffee and juice!
